How to use REED Autoranging Clamp Multimeter (ST-333)

AC/DC Current Measurements with REED ST-335
Reed ST-333 offers easy and reliable measurementsIf you know the range of your measurements, start using the REED ST-335 into the AC/DC current measurements mode by set the function switch to the desired range:400ADC, 40ADC, 400AAC or 40AAC. Don't worry if you don't know what is the range of your measurements. Just select the higher range first then move to the lower range if necessary. Open the REED ST-333's jaws by pressing the trigger and fully enclose the conductor which will be measured. Now the Clapm meter will will display the reading on LCD display.
Set the function switch to the V position and delect AC or DC with the MODE button for DC/AC Voltage Measurements. Insert the black test lead into the negative COM terminal and the red test lead into the positive V terminal. Connect the test leads in parallel to the circuit under test and read the voltage measurement on the LCD display.

Resistance and Continuity Measurements with REED ST-335
According with your needs set the function switch to the Ω position. Insert the black test lead into the negative COM terminal and the red test lead into the positive terminal. Use the multifunction MODE button to select resistance. Touch the test probe tips across the circuit or component under test. It is best to disconnect one side of the device under test so the rest of the circuit will not interfere with the resistance reading. For Resistance tests, read the resistance on the LCD display. For Continuity tests, if the resistance is < 150Ω, a tone will sound.

The clamp meter are able to made Diode Measurements, Capacitance Measurements, Frequency or % duty cycle measurements or Temperature Measurements
in the same simply way. Just select the desired function by switching the function switch, insert the test leads into the desired jack and read the measurements on the LCD display.

Manual Ranging
The meter turns on in the autoranging mode. Press the Range button to go to manual ranging. Each press of the range button will step to the next range as indicated by the units and decimal point location. Press and hold the Range button for two seconds to return to autoranging. Manual ranging does not function in the AC Current, Diode and Continuity check functions.
